Answers:
1. Does Red Arrow permit drinking or open-alcoholic beverages aboard the coach?
NO! Any passengers who are deemed intoxicated will not be permitted to board. In addition, any passengers caught with open-alcohol on board the coach will be ejected immediately. FARE WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.

2. How much luggage am I allowed to take?
Passengers travelling Red Arrow are allowed 2 regular sized suitcases and 1 carry-on bag. Carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead compartment. Baggage can not be stored under the seat, as this can damage the audio/video system. Extra luggage will be charged at $5.00 per piece (GST included). The number
of extra pieces may be limited due to space constraints.

3. What are your baggage liability restrictions?
Maximum baggage liability is $100.00. Any damage must be reported to Red Arrow within 24 hours or claim may be refused.

4. Can I cancel or change my trip and receive a full refund?
To qualify for a refund or exchange, reservations must be cancelled 30 minutes prior to a.m. departures and 3 hours prior to p.m. departures. Reservations departing from remote locations (Red Deer, Namao, Gibbons,
Radway, Boyle, Grassland, Wandering River and Marianna Lakes) MUST call
½ hour PRIOR to the coach departing the originating ticket office.
You are not eligible for a refund or exchange after time of travel unless previously cancelled. You have 10 days in which to pick up your refund. Reservations must be cancelled 24 hours in advance to qualify for a refund or exchange during the Christmas blackout period.

No. We will only accept an animal that is required by a person for assistance and is certified as having been trained to assist a person (animal guide).

Yes. However, bicycles must be boxed. Passengers can purchase a bicycle box at most bike stores for a minimal charge. There is a $10.00 charge per bike.

8. Can I bring my ski/snowboard equipment?
Yes. Skis, boots and poles must be in a bag or bound together. Snowboards must also be in a bag.
They are considered one (1) piece of luggage and, as such, will be subject to the extra luggage charge
of $5.00 per piece (GST included) if the maximum is exceeded.

10. Are your movies appropriate for all ages?
Although all Red Arrow movies are edited versions, some movies may not be appropriate for all viewers. Viewer discretion is advised.

11. Can I bring a child’s car seat on board?
If you wish to seat your child in their car seat next to you on board the motorcoach, you will also be required to pay the fare for the coach seat occupied by the child's car seat. Please note there are no seat belts on our Motorcoach seats, therefore the child seat will not be secured. If the car seat is not being used it must be placed in the freight bins.

All of our coaches are non-smoking.

13. What information should I have ready when calling Red Arrow?
The city you will be departing from, destination of your trip, date of departure, and time of departure. Please have your credit card ready at time of booking. If you are a corporate traveler, please have your corporate account number ready as well.

14. If I need a ticket at the last minute, can I pay the driver cash?
Yes, if there are seats available. You must have exact cash because the drivers do not carry change.

You should arrive approximately 15 minutes prior to departure.

16. Do you travel to the West Edmonton Mall?
No. The most convenient place to get dropped off is the Best Western Cedar Park Inn. You can then take a taxi to the West Edmonton Mall for approximately $17.00 - $20.00

18. If I miss the coach can I travel on the next one?
No. When you miss the coach without informing Red Arrow your seat goes “empty”. We do not sell open-ended tickets; seats are purchased for travel on a specific coach at a particular time. We work on a reservation system.

19. Do I have to book my trip in advance?
As our coaches are quite popular and do tend to sell out, we recommend booking in advance in order to guarantee yourself a seat.

20. Do you offer any discounted fares?
Yes. We offer discounts for children, students, seniors, disabled and corporate travellers. We also offer discounts to AMA, CAA, Canadian and International Hostelling Association members. Children under the age of 2 can travel at no charge as long as they sit on an adult’s lap. Appropriate identification may be required to receive a discount. Red Arrow Discounts and Promotions cannot be combined in conjunction with each other.

21. May children travel alone on Red Arrow?
Yes. Unaccompanied Children must be six to twelve years of age inclusive. Children under the age of six must be accompanied by someone 13 years of age or older. Certain restrictions apply.
